“Inspiration Dior” exhibition at Pushkin State Museum of Fine Art, the largest museum of European art in Moscow, is now open to the public till July 24, 2011. Featuring about 120 of couture dresses along with some paintings from Vincent Van Gogh, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Gustav Klimt and others on loan from the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, the Versaille Museum and Moscow’s Tretyakov gallery. Besides dresses, the exhibition also covers fine jewelry, watches, perfumes and the history of the legendary house.
“It is not easy to imagine a fashion designer’s house coming to a museum,” said Christian Dior Chief Executive Sidney Toledano.
